Today was a day of cleaning… in WhatsApp data storage.
Earlier today I received an email from Google informing that my data storage with them had exceeded 15GB limit because of WhatsApp data.
I went to look on Whats and actually I had almost 17 GB of data from pure junk (old files, memes, figures, videos etc.) ) and that had taken the whole line of Google and then some.
Cleaned out everything that was useless and the whats storage went to just over 4gb.
Bottom line: you have to clean WhatsApp from time to time or Google stops syncing and data could get lost.
The Path:
Open WhatsApp on mobile – click on the three dots in the upper right corner – settings – data storage – manage storage – delete anything that is no longer useful.
You’re welcome!
:-)
P.S. The alternative to this cleaning would be to buy more storage space on Google, but the scorpion that lives in my pocket didn’t allow it.
